Mrs. Hansa Roy writes,
Yesterday morning had felt different. A
depression, inclination to keep a silence....
No tears surprisingly...
A strange agitated calm...
The way it happens after the death of a loved one when all
the tears get spent
And a strange vaccum fills the being.
A day before Timothy had left....and I had a premonition that
another news was waiting..
This is Sweety.
This was Sweety, coming back after the spay surgery. A very
happy dog, part of a very happy pack of eight, living in a construction site.
She is no more.
She was just an 18 month old dog.
A day ago, when Timothy was being buried in the afternoon, she
was taking her last breaths.
She had refused food in the morning and I had prayed God to
free her.
Same symptoms as Timothy. Total body paralysis. Timothy took
two months....Sweety took just eleven days.
I am clueless. I have never seen such cases before.
The vet says it's the result of an injury only.
Who to ask what happens behind my back. We, Indians are
masters in Omerta. No one speaks. They cover one another's back. That explains
our crime ridden social scene.
