Mrs. Hansa Roy writes,

And in the midst of all the tears, came a picture of a beautiful dog and a thankyou note.

In early January this year, picture of a furless dog had arrived in my phone through an unknown number.

A trainee bank officer, she was concerned about this dog who resided in the premises of the bank.

It's very surprising and very heartwarming too that no one had tried to chase away the poor dog.

I explained to her that whatever medicine I will give,it will take a few months time for the fur to grow back.
It won't happen overnight.

The first dose of ivermectin took care of the skin oozing blood.

The next dose didn't work much. I stopped with the second dose.

She had kept me informed with his pictures.

It was early March, l decided to give a Simparica.

And I told her that now no more medicines for him. We will have to wait and watch.

Yesterday,a message arrived from her. I was afraid to open.....too much sorrow and death has left me vulnerable.
Not another SOS in this heat,I prayed.

In the evening, I opened it .I can't shirk my duties.

And I saw the handsome boy.....and I cried. A beautiful four line thankyou message had accompanied the picture.

It's the first time in twenty years, that someone has remembered to inform me about the status of a dog and to say a word of thanks.

The Bridging Rainbows Foundation continues to make a silent impact, where these little joys matter a lot.
