📢 Dr. Kuhu Roy, Director, Bridging Rainbows Foundation,
had an incredibly huge honour to talk about 'PAWS-3: A One Health Ethical
Strategy for Free Roaming Dogs in India,' at the Eleventh Annual Oxford Animal
Ethics Summer School, held at Merton College, Oxford from 3rd to 6th
August, 2026.
So, what does PAWS-3 stand for?

S - Sustainability
Why One Health for rabies eradication in India?
Because we live in a deeply interconnected world, where the well-being of any
species cannot be viewed in isolation.
Next on agenda is putting the PAWS-3 mammoth proposal in a publication format. It
will be followed up by a mass awareness drive for all, who want to be a part of
the change. We will be walking you through each of the steps, a foolproof plan
with zero room for corruption, so that India can say a forever goodbye to
rabies.

very moving short movie that she made, pro bono, that was shown at the starting
of the talk.
Dr. Kuhu Roy has brought back home treasures of a lifetime; having learned from

interview for the filming of the Summer School, the goosebumps for the shout
