A police complaint was lodged by Mrs. Hansa Roy on September 18, 2024 in a matter concerning gross violation of Animal Birth Control Rules, 2023 by the Yash Domestic Research Foundation.
She caught their van (GJ 08 AW 6443) at 1120am at MSU Boys Hostel gate, Pratapgunj, Baroda. The driver and the catcher were carrying no ID cards. The van contained thirteen untagged stray dogs God knows picked up from where and headed to what fate. On the spot tagging of stray dogs is vital data that helps the dog's release back to its precise location. They said they used GPS but failed to provide any data. Imagine the implication of this wrongful practice being carried out daily by the Yash Foundation.
The Yash Foundation has always had a history of engaging in animal cruelty. Their activities are counterproductive to resolving the man-stray dog conflict.
Mrs. Roy has been threatened by the Yash Foundation in the past for seeking action against their wrongful practices.
