Scotch was among the three pups born to Maria in mid August 2006. As the only male sibling, he took the lead over his sister Sundae. A faithful subordinate to Branched Tail and Husky, he was a hands-on assistant to them. Their sibling, Butter, was growing up at home and we ensured daily food and care for Scotch and Sundae. It was going to be their first birthday on August 15, 2007. Scotch was lying mutilated on the road, pieces were what were left of him and people kept driving over his remains.
It is a disgusting feeling, an animal being heaped so much disrespect even when gone.
Fast forward 2024, there are still mutilated remains of animals found on the roads because we just do not bother to brake for them. If hit, how many of us stop to help the animal in need? GIVE ANIMALS A BRAKE.
As for his sister, Sundae, she adopted our home in the last leg of her life and departed on April 14, 2020, breathing her last on Mrs. Hansa Roy's lap.
