Our Junipur had disappeared two days before flooding. When he was found yesterday, he was in a terrible condition. His whole head was injured. It appeared as though his neck and head were stuck somewhere and he had injured himself in the process of freeing himself.

The problem with Junipur is that he is a very timid dog. Even if one wants to, one cannot take him to the vet. No catcher can catch him. That is the point on the spot first aid comes in handy. He was so hungry and thirsty that he gulped down the food and the medicines and disappeared again.

Today, the bleeding from his ears had stopped. The swelling in his head has perceptibly gone down and he appears to be better. The pus is gone and pink skin is now visible.
