It is often debated
how companion animals grieve losses. But, just like us humans, no two companion
animals grieve alike.
Emily has picked up life after losing her friend
to the devastating floods in Baroda this year. Who knows, perhaps she must have
seen her friend being swept away in the currents. Post floods, Emily became a
quiet dog, unlike the smiling face she always had before. The ventures to bully
others have come to a total stop. She is dearly loved and cared for, but that
is no substitute to the loss she and us suffered. Life goes on. We look forward
to the day Emily will smile again.
