An out-of-the-blue diagnosis of a chronic ailment and subsequent death in a short span leaves little to no time to brace for the impact of the loss of companion animals. There is shock, disbelief and those ifs and buts that consume us. These feelings of emotional vulnerability after a loss require a safe and non-judgmental space for an outlet of grief.
Join our support group meeting on September 22, 2024, at 2030 hours Indian Standard Time to find solace in the company of kindred souls who understand this unique grief and the undying love of the human-animal bond.
Write to info@bridgingrainbows.org to register and a confirmation that you will attend.
You are welcome to join us from anywhere worldwide as we stand united to sail through the grief.
There is no registration fee as it is a service honuoring our beloved rescued dog daughter, Butter.
The meeting will be moderated by Dr. Kuhu Roy, India's first certified pet loss grief specialist.
In the picture is our dear Baldev who crossed over on September 19, 2024. He was an integral part of our home since November 2021. A miscreant had broken his knees that rendered him paralyzed. Before that, he was under our care on the streets ever since his mother was found heavily pregnant in 2010. His loss has left a huge void.
