Who on earth thinks about the end when we begin to have the best time of our lives with our companion animals? But when the end nears, the reality, that they have shorter life spans, hits very hard.
Navigating through anticipatory grief is a huge challenge because we really do not know what to do in the time that we are left with our companion animals; cry over the impending loss or make the most of the time to create memories.
The Bridging Rainbows anticipatory grief support group provides a space to let the emotions flow, find strength, cry and laugh, bring the companion animal along to celebrate their love and life. To attend the meet on July 14, 2024, at 2030 hours Indian Standard Time, write to us at info@bridgingrainbows.org with a confirmation that you will attend.
You are welcome to join from anywhere around the world as we stand united together to sail through this tough period.
There is no participation fee as it is a service in honour of our beloved rescued dog daughter named Butter.
The meeting will be moderated by Dr. Kuhu Roy, India's first certified pet loss grief specialist.
In the picture is our dearest Maria who went missing from 16th August 2007 onwards and was never found.
