Last week, Amma, the grand old lady, under our care for more than 13 years, got stuck on a barbed wire fence. No idea what prompted her to engage in old-age acrobatics. She was rescued with great effort. Maa, a champion at first aid, administered sos and kept her stable. Then, Amma was shifted to a private vet and she is recuperating well. Infact, when Maa went to meet her today, the grand old lady was growling at a dog double her size and weight. She loves Maa and looked at her as though asking for how long is she supposed to stay there, that she misses her home.
